SALE OF BEAUFORT FISHERIES CLOSES

The sale of Beaufort Fisheries to Front Street Village closed in the Wheatly Law Firm August 21, 2007.

Bucky and Wendi Oliver, owners of Front Street Village and residents of Beaufort, will be completing a conceptual plan for development of the historic site over the coming months. Approvals and permits will require significant work.

Oliver, who has a history of successful development of environmentally sensitive properties, said he looks forward to complementing Beaufort’s historic charm in every aspect of the project.

The 25 acre site faces Taylor’s Creek and abuts another 5 acre parcel owned by Front Street Village and currently used by boaters accessing the adjacent Curtis Perry Park and JC boat ramp on Taylor’s Creek.
